Our work experience includes both offshore and onshore, ranging from remote jungle areas to high altitude mountainous areas to offshore platforms with gas leaks. Prior to starting Heightsafety, Johan was in the military for 8 years as a parachute instructor, helicopter rope work, tactical abseiling, rope rescue and rock climbing instructor. George started his career in the Pharmaceutical Industry where after which he became involved in sales and sales management. With his qualifications and skills he has quickly risen to Sales and Marketing Director Position for a large pharmaceutical companies in Africa. Heightsafety's involvement in the following activities such as rope access, fall arrest, high angle rescue, military rope work, traditional rock climbing and caving has enabled the heightsafety team to recommend the best suited equipment for the required task. It is out passion to provide equipment that enables the user more efficiently and safely. The quality of our products and standards are managed by an accredited ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System. Our equipment range conforms to the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) who have adopted the European Standards. This traceability ensures that safety and quality of each individual component. The manufacture, assembly and supply of a full range of cost effective, durable, easy-to-use, safe working-at-height equipment and systems for Fall Arrest, Rope Access and Rope Rescue through an expanding network of Heightsafety Distributors.
