We focus on fun while teaching essential life-skills to children and adults as swimming aids co-ordination, improves lung capacity, Strengthens muscles and tones the body.
Our family run small business has developed into our own private heated facility, which is like home for the clients we have. Timid or nervous students, leading to success, are not forced but encouraged, irrespective of age, growth and self confidence. While watching the children during their lesson they enjoy a cup of jo and read a book, even snack on popcorn freshly made.

Debbie Dolphins Swimming School cc is a small family business owned by Estelle and Cindy-Lee Barnard. With love and dedication they have grown this very special business into something exciting. Our main focus at Debbie Dolphins Swimming School cc is to teach the life skill of swimming to all ages and to enrich the community we are in with the knowledge we have been enlightened to, to save lives. After returning from the Special Olympics in Puerto Rico on 17 September, Streak not only received a respectable fifth and fourth place in breaststroke, he’s also inspiring his fellow Cluny Farm residents to get in the water. For the past two years Streak has been training at the Debbie Dolphins Swimming School in Midrand under the watchful eye of swimming instructor Estelle Barnard. Barnard, who has opened her school’s doors free of charge to Cluny Farms said 11 of the pupils including Streak, had a mind shift since taking on the water, and that Streak proved all swimmers had an opportunity to be immortalised in the future. Streak added that his inclusion in the Special Olympics was a true honour, and he was proud to represent South Africa. Streak’s fellow swimmers agreed they were eager to continue their success, and many of them hoped to make the cut for next year’s Special Olympics.
