CPSH was envisioned by Celebrity Chef Khumalo in 2006 who has passion for empowering young people with knowledge and skills, the School is affiliated with one of Chef Khumalo’s company’s Asidle Gourmet catering a premium catering company also based in Midrand, and students are guaranteed a chance to practice in the real kitchen and making them employable as soon as they finish their formal training. Although our lecturing is in English and we also accommodate students that are challenged in English by explaining in their own home languages but at the same time emphasising the importance of knowledge on international languages of the culinary industry. The School started as way of giving back due to the popularity of Chef Khumalo and the demands from people that he should share his skills and enthusiasm. The School is accredited with internationally recognised accreditation through City & Guilds and currently offers certificate and Diploma as well skills proficiency in culinary arts.
