She was also the Freelance ICT editor for the Mail and Guardian, freelanced for a number of South Africa’s leading business titles and served on the board of Cameo Corporate Communications. She holds a national Diploma in Public Relations from Technikon Witwatersrand (now the University of Johannesburg), was a national Toastmaster winner and in 1998 was awarded the coveted SPA Pica award for the best technology journalist in South Africa.
