When we launched Adventure Boot Camp more than a decade ago, in September 2005, we had thirty enthusiastic women, one camp location ( Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cape Town) and the dream to provide an outdoor health and fitness programme to as many women as possible. And while we knew that the Adventure Boot Camp concept would be attractive to women of all ages, shapes and cultural backgrounds, we were delightfully surprised by the speed and extent of Adventure Boot Camp’s growth! We now boast numerous camps across the Cape Peninsula, from Constantia to Durbanville and everywhere in between. We understand that the modern day woman enjoys exercising in a social and motivating environment before or after work hours in beautiful, central locations. Adventure Boot Camp is about sisterhood and teamwork and it is evident in everything we do. Our head office (based in Cape Town) is run by a small group of dedicated women while our trainers and franchisees are hand-picked to ensure that our superb standards are always maintained. Together we are a strong team of dedicated professionals who ensure that camps run smoothly and that our campers receive the best care. This mission statement is at the heart of everything we do and it's displayed as you walk into our office, where we can see it every day. Whether you are a woman in need of a life-changing experience or a Personal Trainer with a special interest in women’s fitness, you will experience these values and we can’t wait to welcome you to the Adventure Boot Camp family. Whether you are a beginner, an avid fitness enthusiast or just tired of the same old routine, come and try our approach to exercise routines for women and fun! Want to lose weight to fit into that special dress? In order for you to see how your fitness level has improved over each four-week camp, we hold an Assessment Day on the first and last Fridays. These are then repeated as many times as possible in 10 minutes.
